I recently used the Files & settings transfer wizard to migrate old computer
(Win98, Office 2000) to new laptop (XPPro, Office 2003). SInce this is going
to be used at home & at work on a domain, I'd like all the same profiles,
permissions, etc to apply whether logging into work domain or just logging
on to computer. When logging onto domain & launching Outlook, I get the
message "C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns\C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office\SBCMSYNC.DLL' is not a valid Office add-in".
How can I fix this & can I use the same pst whether logged in at work or at
home?

it's one of the pitfalls of moving profiles between machines - if the same
addins aren't installed, you'll get errors...

You can use the same pst, assuming it's on the local machine.

BTW - we're seeing a lot of problems when people upgrade and use the same
profile - if you have problems, see if a new profile resolves it first.
