outlook 2000 stopped working

I just installed Office 2007 home and student, and now outlook 2000 has
stopped running. It opens up and says "the operation failed" and shuts down
again. I have run the scanpst program on the pst file and it found no errors.
Help!
 
You can't have two versions of outlook on the same computer, if you installed
Outlook 2007, which it sounds like you did, then 2000 will stop working.
Try running outlook 2007.
 
I did not install a new version of outlook. The home and student version of
microsoft office does not have outlook, just excel, word, powerpoint and one
note. Any other suggestions?

Please read the original post. Office 2007 Home and Student Edition doesn't
contain Outlook so there;'s no way the OP could have installed Outlook 2007
from that editoion.
