I am running Outlook 2000 SR1 on an XP SP1. Outlook
comes up ok but as soon as I try to create a new mail or
open one in my inbox I get this error: "Microsoft Visual
C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe abnormal
program termination"
I have uninstalled and re-installed with no change. Any
ideas? The program will execute, retrieve mail, scroll
mail, view contacts and calendar but you can not open or
create any mail.
I've freed up disk space, scanned for viruses, checked
memory and tried the repair function too. Thanks in
advance for any help or suggestions anyone may be able to
provide.
