Hi,
Sooo confuuuused!

Using WIN XP / SP2 / MS OFFICE-OUTLOOK 2000 - NETZERO.com

When I send email via Outlook I see the mail in my SENT box. I can
assume that it does NOT mean that it went out...simply that I typed it
and clicked SEND.

I cannot receive incoming email.

I was positive that I configured everything correctly, but my little
brain is failing me. A Clue, please?

The outbound message goes to your Outbox. If it gets sent, it then gets
moved to your Sent Items folder. "Sent" is past tense. It got sent,
it's out, it's already been done, your mail server has it and is trying
to get it delivered.
I cannot receive incoming email.

We're supposed to help you based on that? You expect your car will get
fixed by saying it's broke without any details of what you mean by
broke? What error message do you get when the mail poll fails (when you
know there are actually some messages pending in your mail account)?
I was positive that I configured everything correctly, but my little

Aren't you paying Netzero? If so, they actually refuse to help you use
their service for which you paid? If you can't get Outlook working
using their setup instructions on their web site then try calling them.
They'll know best how to configure for using their service.
