Greetings:
I've been running Outlook 2000 for several years and last
night something very strange happened -- it suddenly
refuses to load when Iclick on the Outlook icon. When I
click the icon, all I get is the Outlook product screen
and it simply hangs.
I am able to do a CTRL--ALT--DEL to that I can kill the
program, but Even after I do this and attempt to reload, I
experience the same problem again.
Here's what I've tried so far:
--I've attempted to repair the program using the CD-ROM
--I've completely installed and reinstalled the entire
OFFICE 2000 suite of programs
--Rebooted countless times
--Even tried running Outlook in Safe Mode, but to no avail
My fear is that there is a corrupt file somewhere on my
system that is getting in the way the program loading. I
NEED to get into Outlook as there are some key emails and
addresses that must obtain.
Any suggestions would be REALLY appreciated.
Thanks-
Mike
