My hard drive has recently crashed and i had to buy a new
hard drive. I have loaded all software and am having a
chalenge with my accounts in Outlook. I have two
different domain names for a total of four Outlook
accounts. Everything worked before the crash but now my
one domain name account(s) can receive email but can not
send. I have installed exactly the way it is supposed to
be done per instructions.
Is there something I need to do that outside these
instructions that perhaps I forgot I did the first time?

Thanks

Jim

Do you get an error message when you try to send on that account? If so,
what is it?

That means that Outlook was unable to connect to that server. The usual
culprit in this case is a firewall or anti-virus program, but the fact that
you can send on other accounts makes that somewhat less likely. In any
case, try turning off each such program if you have them and see if one of
them is the problem. If so, see if there is an update to it that fixes the
problem. If not, how are you connecting to the Internet? It's possible
that your ISP is blocking access to SMTP servers other than its own (many
ISPs, unfortunately, are going this route, presumably to counter spam).
