Outlook 2000 automatically adds as contacts people you reply to

How do I make this stop? I don't want to save every message I reply to in my
contacts.

OS: Windows XP
 
Good memory. IMO has almost vanished from the face of the earth. Few people
would remember that feature as it is long gone.

Alarm bells always sound for me when somebody mentions Outlook 2000 or
previous. It's a bit like trivia to keep remembering those things; fun but
mostly often useless :-D
