My problem is that when I send attachments (*.jpg or *.psd photograps or
*.wma files) they arrive at their destination as *.dat files. Do I have some
security setting too high or what?

Make sure you use HTML or Plain Text format when sending messages to Outlook
Express users, or users of any other e-mail client besides Outlook. Don't
use Rich Text format, which is proprietary to Outlook and will cause
problems for other recipients, one of which is that they won't get your
attachments.

Thanks for the info. I did change the setting from Rick Text to HTML but the
files I am sending are still being receives as *.dat files.

Hi, what is your OS? XP with SP2? I have a problem like. When I attach a
specific PDF file and I save the same file again without send it and I open
it after save, the file was damaged. With other PDF file is not happend.
When I repeat these steps on XP SP1 or Win98, this not happend. Do you have
any idea?
