This has started within the past few weeks. Everytime I send a message in
outlook 2003 I get the message

Oulook has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Do you want to restart outlook, etc,etc

Outlook restarts and the message gets sent.

It also happens when I click on a email link on a web page. (I want to
email someone and opens a new message box to send the message) I get an
error as well.

It's driving me nuts. I've updated, cleaned and search everywhere for an
answer. Anyone have any ideas. Using windows XP, office 2003, SP3

Diane,

Thank you for answering my post...I deleted the SRS files (there were 3 of
them) and was able to send a couple of emails, but then it started the error
again. I did notice one SRS file came back.

I deleted it again with no luck.

I even tried to install the business contact manager and outlook wouldn't
even open with it. I had to uninstall it before out look opened. I don't
have any Add-in install or anything that i notice.

I'm stuck....

Find and delete the SRS file for your profile.

paste %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook in address bar in the
windows explorer to open the folder to the correct location.
