Hi - hope somebody can help....

A regular contact sent me a plain text e-mail that is over 2MB. I don't
remember opening or moving it but it's now in a sub folder of my inbox and I
can't delete it. Every time I try to even open the folder Outlook freezes
and has to be closed. So I can't delete it and can't access the other mail
ion that folder.

Try deleting the entire folder; right click on the folder, "properties",
scroll right to see the file name, then find the folder *.dbx in Explorer
and delete it. CAUTION: You will probably lose all mail you have in that
folder.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I managed to delete the file by deleting the whole
folder as you said. But in the end I found that Outlook would unfreeze if I
left it for about half an hour so gave me the chance to move the other mail
from the folder before deleting it.

Bzzt. Wrong. Outlook and DBX files have nothing to do with each other.
Try again another time.
