A full letter outline feature is not available in PowerPoint, but you can
fake it using 1 of two methods.
Method 1 -- Using both of the shadow features
1) Add show to the text using the Format -> Font -> Shadow. This will add a
shadow to the text based on what PowerPoint determines to be the best color.
2) Add a shadow in the opposite direction using the Shadow tool on the text.
You will not be able to have any fill in the text box or the box will get
the shadow instead of the text. You will also need to match the color of
the automatic shadow added in step 1.
Method 2 -- Using multiple text boxes
1) Make sure there is no shadow on the text and copy the entire textbox
2) Paste it and recolor the text to, say..., white.
3) Copy this textbox and paste 3 more times
4) Now using the order function (to move the boxes behind one another) and
the arrow keys, arrange the text boxes so one of the white text boxes is
behind and slightly misaligned to the original text box. The 4 white text
boxes should be to the 4 corners. The 4 white text box characters will form
a white outline around the original text.
