outgong default mail/server

prior posting referred to Outlook as default editor when
i guess it should have been identified as the outgoing
mail default program. I want to use Yahoo except when i
specifically select Outlook. How to?

Yahoo! is not a client on your PC. It's a web service and your can't
specify it as an outgoing mail default program because it's not a program.
It's not on your computer at all.
