I have a message in my outbox that will not send, and when
I click on it to open, a message says "Can't open this
item. The Mapi spooler has already begun sending this
message." It has been hours now since I sent the
message. I've shut down Outlook, I've rebooted my
computer, I've tried moving the message back to my inbox
but it won't move . . . I have to shut outlook down with
the Task Manager . . . and I can't receive or send any
other e-mails. Help??? What to do??

Create a new .pst file - make it the default. Close and reopen Outlook.
Delete the file.
