Is it possible to set a rule _excluding_ certain email addresses or domains
from receiving a response when Out of Office is on?

Roady said:Not within Outlook. You can control this on the Exchange server itself on
the SMTP conector.

I loosely understand how to deny certain email addresses and domains by
setting the permissions at the connectors but, in this case, I do want to
receive the messages - just not have the auto response sent. Is that
possible
to set at the connectors too?

steps by heart. You might want to ask this again in an Exchange newsgroup so
you'll get a faster responds. Don't forget to mention you Exchange version.
Good luck!

And thanks for the link to the howto site, which I'd not found before and
which is very helpful.
