Basically, you don't. There is no built-in Out of Office functionality in
Windows Mail; you can simulate it using message rules, but this means you
must leave your PC turned on with Windows Mail launched and active the whole
time you’re gone. Any system event that may come up which requires user
input will bring everything to a halt as will even the briefest of power
failures. This is best handled by your ISP, many offer a Vacation Response
feature on their webmail interface.
