Hello

I have a user who is going on vacation, and has her Out of
Office turned on. When I create a new email and send it
to her, her outlook returns an Out of Office message.
However, when I *forward* her an email, I get no Out of
Office message in reply. I can't seem to find any options
to fix this on the client, and can't seem to find anything
about this in the Outlook NGs. Does anyone know if I'm
missing something on the client, or if there's some server-
side option I can tweak? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Out of Office returns only one message per sender. If you sent the forwarded
message after the first one, it would not send a response.

You only get an OOF message once.

I'm sorry? I'm not sure I understand. These are two
separate messages that I'm sending; I'm not forwarding the
already-sent item. I send her one test message, I get a
OOF message. I forward something in my inbox --anything
in my inbox-- to her, I get no OOF message.

If what you're saying is there's no way around this, then
that's fine; I just wanted to make sure my meaning was
clear.

Ignore me, I'm an idiot. I get it now -- thank you.
