I do not have the out of office option under "Tools".
How can I add it. Its desperately needed!! Thanks!

You can add that message through your internet provider
unless your looking to make it an internal memo to
coworkers.

Unless you collect mail through Exchange Server, you don't have it.

You need to be connected to an Exchange server to have the Out of Office
Assistant.

Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

The Out of Office Assistant is only available if you are connected to an
Exchange server. You can spoof the OOA using the Rules Wizard, but Outlook
must be kept running in order for the rule to work. Look here for more
information:

http://www.slipstick.com/rules/autoreply.htm

Also, think carefully before deciding to use an autoreply rule. You're
letting people know that you're going to be away (which is probably only
potentially dangerous if you're going to be away from home and the
recipients of your message might want to take advantage of that fact);
you're letting any spammers that send mail to your e-mail account that
they've found a "live one", and if your autoreply rule works more than once
per sender, you're setting yourself up for the possibility of endless mail
loops if you send an automatic reply to someone else who has an autoreply
rule set up.
