Out of Office Assistant with exceptions

Does anyone know if this is possible. I.e. to respond ONLY
if it was sent directly to me so it would not reply if
sent to a listserv. I keep seeing that people recommend to
create a rule to emulate the Out of Office Assistant, but
it is my understanding that you need to have Outlook open
in order for it to be able to access the oft file.

If it helps, not using IMO. If someone knew a way in any
version of Outlook, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, using a rule with "Have the server reply with a
specific message" works, but it does not prevent the
replying to the same person multiple times. I guess it is
the only way though...
