Out of office assistant doesn't work

Hi there,

We have a user getting this problem. Even though he enables Out-of-Office
auto-reply, the senders won't getting any notification from his mailbox for
his absence. I have checked his Outlook, but doesn't find any noticeable
settings problem. He has a BlackBerry connecting to our corporate BES. His
BlackBerry also shows Out-off-office reply is enabled. It also shows enabled
from OWA. Other users do not report similar problem.

Does anyone have similar problem and get a solution?

Are these internal or external senders? By default, Exchange (since OOA is
a function of Exchange and not Outlook) won't respond to external addresses.
 
Thanks, Brian. We allow OOF to external senders. but even internal senders
do not receive the OOF notifications. Maybe I should post this question to
Exchange discussion group.

That's what I'd do, since OOA is an Exchange function.
