Out Memory in Outlook 2007

I'm out of Memory in Outlook 2007 and get the message, delete items by using
"shift + delete". I do that, but still same message ! What can I do !?
 
Did you upgrade from an earlier version of Outlook?
If so create a new Profile with a new data file (assuming you didnt do this
on upgrading)

Did you compact the PST after deleting the items? Consider converting your
PST from ANSI to Unicode if you're using a PST that came from Outlook 2002 or
earlier.
