What do you mean " function for mydocument folder" ? If you mean using a
private folder, read the following:

Most probably your " My Document " folder is located in a non NTFS
partition.
If so, there is no way to use this feature of Win XP since your partition is
formatted FAT32 or FAT.
Also, under NTFS format, this is available for those files in
your "My Document" folder.

You can use converting to NTFS by command prompt or a software like
"Partition Magic"

Look Help and support center for more guide

Good Luck

Are you using NTFS? You need to use NTFS file system on the disks to enable
file privacy/security. FAT32 doesn't understand security at all.

You can determine what file system you are using, if you don't know, by
opening "My Computer", right clicking your hard drive, and choosing
"properties". Then look for "File System".

If you wish, you can convert from FAT32 to NTFS by using the CONVERT
command. Use the help system to get more information on this.
