This means that the other person using the computer did
not log off and still has processes running make sure
that all users go to log off instead of switch user,make
all users log off and then log on.this might fix the
problem
You posted this before and I asked you if there were other people in the
house who were not logging off but using the Switch User feature
instead. If you would like to answer that question, you'll be able to
get more help.
You're using Fast User Switching in Windows XP, and you logged into a
session under another userid, then logged into a session under your
current userid, without logging out the first session.
To see what other userid is logged in, start Task Manager (right click
on a blank portion of the taskbar, select Task Manager), and select
"Show processes from all users" (bottom left of Processes tab).
