other people can't see my files on the network

i keep trying to share out my files with another person on the network
but i keep gettin this message in my security log as well as them not
beign able to logon...does anyone know wut security settings i have to
change to enable them to see me? they can see my computer but that's as
far as they can go. also i can see their files just fine and access them

Has He or She acount on your machine? If not, create it. Because if He/She doesn't have an account, hasn't got access for the folder
 
u know...i was thinkin i would have to do that. but i thought i could
set generic permissions that would allow it.
