Hello Everyone and thanks for your help in advance. I am the administrator
of a small netowrk (15 workstations). Today, in drilling down through My
Network Places on the server, I noticed what appeared to be another network
under Microsoft Windows Network. Obviously, this gave me cause for concern
as to whether our network was being broken into. I was unable to browse to
the network, and it vanished within an hour. I am trying to trace what this
was, but don't know enough to know what steps to take. Any insight on this
topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Kmcnet,
This kind of icons are populated in many ways. For instance, if you install
a machine in a workgroup called "Workgroup" you will get a icon there, even
if you moved it to a domain (there is a delay time to solve this issue).
So, probably, you have a internal machine with wrong domain / workgroup name.
