OT? What type DVD is player

Hi all. This may be OT for this group, not sure. But here goes. I know that
a DVD-R will play in a store bought, commercial DVD palyer. Will any other
kind ply in there too. Like a DVD-RW, or other re-usable kind? Just
wondering before I go out and buy them.

if you mean standalone players im not sure

if you go for an NEC DVD-RW drive on your pc, it should play DVD-RW discs on
another NEC DVD-ROM drive no problem

try it and if you are unsatisfied or it doesnt work just take it back and
say it doesnt do what you thought it would, retailer has to refund you
