OT Please help

I keep getting a box popping up with microsoft visual c++ runtime error
terminate when i open explorer and outlook and a few other things what is
the problem and how do i fix it, i have checked for virus and spyware with
no luck please help, Please note i am running 98 but had no luck on there
NGs
spo i was hoping someone on here might be able to help.

What is the exact error message?
If there is a Details button click that and give us the first two lines.

Hi frank no details button it come up with a grey box red cirlce with a
cross and a runtime error saying where it is ie program
files/internetexploere/ ie.exe or what ever and then underneath it metions
this application will terminate and contact the program people, you click
ok and everyuthing goes of. thats it wont let me in to exploere or on the
net and the sya with outlook

I get the same thing i tried replacing some of the runtime files that didnt
help either. I think it started after i installed and then uninstalled a
share ware sun Java Program. Hope some one can help us this is frustrating.
