As an extension of the fairly common "Bush Derangement Syndrome:"

Microsoft Corporation, particularly among persons who ought to know better.

operating systems possible. Microsoft didn't invent the graphical-user
interface, but it brought the GUI to computers affordable by ordinary
people. Microsoft has done more than any other entity to bring affordable,
easily usable software for engineering, recordkeeping, and general
productivity to users of all kinds...."

Yeah, why would anyone detest a convicted predatory monopoly, the
largest IP infringer, and largest distributer of spy/malware on the
planet? I'm totally puzzled by that too!
