OT how to load or unload, reload a device driver ?

Hi all,

After each resuming on my Dell laptop, the sound is
broken (off), so i thought about reloading the drivers, but
i don't know how. Any idea better than reboot ?

.. It may be that it isn't the sound card drivers at all, but a
corrupted sound file. To remedy that open conrtrol panel, click on
sound, then disable any windows sounds you have enabled.

.. Open Device Manager, highlight sound card, chose properties and then
opt to either reinstall the drivers, or install updated drivers for
it. Open Help/Support for troubleshooting tips on sound.

.. Remove the sound card in Device Manager, and let the system
reinstall it at reboot.
