Hi Guys,

My work has blocked the only account that could use to check my personal
emails. Its very crap i know that its not fair
to use company's email address for personal use however if they block other
ways how can we deal with it ...

I just wonder is there any other ways to receive emails?, is there any other
type of email accounts to open that they can't
block? Is anyone else having this issue? Any other solutions?

Hi,

This may help. It will pop your mailbox through their web interface.

You obviously don't care whether you keep your job or not.

Your personal ISP probably has a webmail interface you can use to check
your messages.

Get a gmail account. Leave your e-mail client running at home and have
it echo your mail to your gmail account.

I use Portable Thunderbird on a USB drive, but the IT nazi's aren't
blocking ports where I'm working.

Good luck.

Email is faster and cheaper than a phone call !
How many people (especially women) sit using the phone all flaming day and
don't get any work done.

but as i said, they have blocked gmail.

Ok i found out something new ... it looks like they are blcoking the word
"mail" i am looking for a free web email
where there is no "mail" word in its url ... i think it will work.

Any free email account with no mail word attached?

If your employer is that adamantly strict about what you do on your
computer then you should either stop doing it or find another employer.
They will be installing sniffers on your connection next if you
continue to try to circumvent their policies.

Exactly! They are probably tired of all the extra work caused by the
malware that arrives in employees' personal email. And excess network
traffic it causes may also be a problem.
