Hello all. I know this is OT, but I am hoping someone here can point me in
the right direction. A while back a saw a program that would show a hard
drive's contents graphically. The contents would appear as colored boxes,
the largest of which represented the largest program on the drive, down to
small boxes (obviously the smaller programs).
Anyone have any idea what the name of this program was? I believe it was
free or share ware.
Many TIA!

DiskPie uses pie charts rather than boxes, but the idea's the same

Try www.diskeeper.com. I think the defrag program on WindowsXP is a
Lite version of Diskeeper but I'm not sure.
Diskeeper will show all your color bars for fragmented files and files
that can't be moved , etc. I use it and let it run on a "Smart
Schedule" which works in the background all the time so I don't have
to worry about defragging. This may not answer your question at all
but thought I'd give it anyway. It's not a free program but I think
they have a trial version.
