[?OT?] Game for children - advice, please

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. I was wondering if anyone
could recommend an adventure game for children? Along the lines of Harry
Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone, that sort of
FPS/puzzle-solver, but with less scary stuff. I'm trying to find something
for my 5 & 7 year-old daughters and as well as the scary, it was a bit
difficult. Is there anything out there that anyone's come across?

try search ebgames.com and gamestop.com you can filter your search to
only return games with certain ratings etc.
 
My nieces and my cousin's kids enjoy Scooby Doo Showdown in Ghost Town and
Scooby Doo Jinx at the Sphinx. They involve solving mysteries and the
graphics are really colorful. Definitely fun for everyone.
