I recently stumbled upon Star Wars: Revelations, and I was impressed by the
production level of an amateur movie. Are there any other downloadable films
out there worth watching, preferably full length?

Star Wreck: In The Pirkinning was a great laugh and impressive.

Not full length, but there's loads of films over at:
http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/

Don't hold out too much hope, but some of the better ones I've seen are:

Death Star Repairmen
http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/shortfilms/deathstarrepairmen/index.asp

The Formula
http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/shortfilms/theformula/index.asp
featuring a hilarious Bobba Fett, and dream sequence

A Glitch in the Matrix

Jedi House

Robin's Big Date

A Lost Hope

Probably the best of the bunch. You really have to see this one.

There _were_ some very high quality short films available at
http://www.bmwfilms.com, but these seem to have been taken offline. I don't
know if they are still available somewhere else.

Just found these 2, shorts but well worth the download:

Pink Five
http://www.atomfilms.com/af/content/pink5

Ever wonder how the Rebel Alliance would have fared if a Valley Girl was at
the controls of an X-wing fighter during the daring raid on the Death Star?
Now you can answer the troubling questions that arise from this very
concept!

Pink Five strikes back
http://www.atomfilms.com/af/content/pink5_strikes

The "totally awesome" saga of Stacey, the Pink Five fighter pilot continues
as she treks to Dagobah, where Master Yoda trains her to be a Jedi. Kinda.

How to I view the avi file? Windows Media Player plays the sound, but
doesn't show the pictures - just it's swirly "ambience". Grrr - so many
file formats.

I use the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, as it has replacements for RealPlayer and
Quicktime, as well as a DivX player to play back that particular movie.
