Has anyone come up with a viable Cassette-to-CD program and/or hardware
solution? Google shows me either High end solutions or questionable software
'cut n dice' gizmos.
TIA

Do you mean audio or old computer data tapes? Audio is easy enough
(windows sound recorder, j river media jukebox), but digital data I
dont know.

Audio cassettes that are played on an audio cassette player copied to a
computer (digital) and burned to a Compact Disc in MP3 or similar codecs.

I am able to do this using audacity. It would interesting to see how
well it stacks up to the commercial programs out there.

cassette playver -> computer using audacity to record from line in ->
Burning the sound files to cd

within this reposting your sig-delimiter is ok, but NOT within your
parallel repost nearly at the same time with the subject
"Re: A program to display CPU/Mem usage in the taskbar?" to Teh Suck.
Realy miraculous that. Perhaps it would be realy an idea upgrading your
OE to a newer version (or, at this occasion) perhaps give another
newsclient a go with less miracles?

Peter, you have already conveyed your opinion to Dadioh about the issue
several times now.
I suggest you give it a loooong rest now, okay?
