OT BitDefender 8 free for 24 hours (only today)

The Free Edition is not the same as the Standard Edition, being given
away for free (apparently). The Free Edition is an on demand only
scanner - the standard edition includes on access scans. Looking
through the downloads directory on BitDefender.com it appears that only
..de are going to get the February special :(

Too bad, you're right. But on the .de pages there wasn't any hint neither.
I found the link in an online magazine, so maybe there's still hope for
non-germans, but I don't know where.

It's possible to backup the .ini language files from the English
evaluation version. I'm not sure if explaining what you could do with
them after that would be against the ethos of the group...
