OST file in use

I am running outlook and Exchange 2003, my admin account has created an OST
file that wish not to use anymore, I realize how to get rid of it, but I keep
getting the file is in use, and I know for a fact that the admin account is
not logged in, why is the file still hung. How can I clear the file session
so I can rid this file and turn off offline filing?

Log off your workstation and log back on. Reboot would work as well.
Then you will be able to delete the file.
