OS upgrade to XP from Win98 Excel Macro 97

I have a user that still needs office 97 Ecel
he uses a Macro Ecel 97
If I upgrade him to XP from Win98 - he's keeping Office 97
will his Macro be affected?

It shouldn't be. But you can never speak in absolutes in these type
situations.

I occasionally use workbooks in the environments you mention and I haven't
run into problems.
