OS Performance Benchmark

We use Windows XPe in a low end PC (Via C3 800MHz, 128Mb RAM, 20Gb HD), it
would be very interesting to demonstrate that our system has an overall
better performance with XPe than, for instance, with XP Pro or Win 2000.
Although this is practically obvious (anyone using the system "feels" that
it is faster and lighter with XPe), is there any benchmark SW that expresses
this superiority in numeric data?

Sandra (SiSoftware) returns equal results in its tests, under XP or XPe. Any
other idea? I think that a real performance comparative, in the same device,
between XPe and other OSes would be very pleasant for all we XPe developers.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Carlos,

I think that you will be disappointed with benchmarks between XPe and XP
Pro.They are the same, non real-time OS-es. (Although for many usages this
does not matter or can be work-arounded)

In your case you will have performance improvement in work only because you
don't have enough RAM memory for XP Pro to function properly, and XPe can be
trimmed down so it can fit nicely it this memory and skip using pagefile
that is terribly slow.

Slobodan
