os entryline

i had xp and now i ahve installed win 98 .in my system ,but the os
entry line doesn't appers .at start up it automatically enters into
win98.how to overcome this problem.i need help if any

Perhaps you overwrote Windows XP? Did you allow Win98
to be installed in the folder C:\Windows? Is this where
Windows XP used to reside?
