Hello.

I'm running W2K Pro w/SP3 on a dual-P3 866mhz machine.
It's been solid for three years, and I've dutifully
applied OS updates as they've become available. Within the
last week, however, I've been subjected to the Blue-Screen-
Of-Death four times. The only specific information
displayed is "DRIVER_IRQL_LESS_OR_EQUAL." It then goes
into a memory-dump operation followed by a reboot. The
crash occurs without external provocation. Needless to
say, this sucks, and I'd be very grateful if someone can
shed some light on it. Thanks very much!

Tell us about your anti-virus, firewall and/or router. You can bet
that virus creators look closely at the security updates from MS,
so they are not enough, in themselves.
