original audio cd not playing correctly

Im having a problem playing original audio cds. for some
reason all i can hear is the backing track and backing
vocals and no lead vocals. I have windows xp home edition
and a AOPEN CD-RW CRW4850 Please help!

have corrupt driver files. If that doesn't work.
Go to the AOPEN (?) website and download the latest
drivers for your CD-RW that is compatible with WinXP.
Your problem is not WinXP but probably your CD-ROM. One
other possibility is the sound card. After downloading
and installing the latest drivers and you still have the
same problem, you might need to buy a new sound card, or
its drivers need to be updated.

First thing to check ...Right click the speaker icon in

your task bar....Select ..Open volume Controls. Then see
if all your "Balance" settings are set to the middle.
