Org chart formatting

When I turnt he sutoformatting option off when creating an Org Chart and then
add subsequent levels the box appears behind another and when moved leaves
the "connector lines" in front of the existing boxes...How do I create the
chart by placing random levels without running into this issue?

You'd have to add the subsequent levels before turning off Autolayout on the
Org Chart toolbar (under the Layout menu). I can't find any way around it
with Autolayout off. You can turn Autolayout on to make everything fit and
then turn it back off so you can rearrange bits and pieces as necessary.

maddening if you're not at that point! Thanks so much for your help!

Yeah, I hear you. I'm not a big fan of certain things about the current
diagramming tools -- and this would be one of them.
