OPXPapp.exe Error On Start Up

Often I get the following message when my Windows XP
completes its start up "OPXPApp.exe has encountered a
problem and needs to close".

Does anybody know what this file is? Is it important?

I have a new HP a262n, 2.8ghz Intel 4, 512mb memory, 160
gb hard drive.

Google Is Your Friend(tm). This appears to have something to do with an
OmniPage program - for your scanner? You probably don't need to have it
in startup.
