G Gary Jul 28, 2003 #1 How do I reset all options in Word XP to their original default states? Thanks
D Doug Robbins - Word MVP Jul 28, 2003 #2 Hi Gary, Locate the Normal.Dot template and rename it to Normal.Old and the next time you start Word, it will create a new one with the default settings. See the article "What do Templates and Add-ins store?" at: http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Customization/WhatTemplatesStore.htm Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis. Hope this helps Doug Robbins - Word MVP
