I hope someone in this newsgroup is able to help me with this.
When I launch Preinstall Manager, it asks me for which retail product I want
to make the preinstall set for. When I click on add, I select my CD-ROM
driver and browse to the I386 folder. That's when I get the "Cannot find
retail product" error message. I've tried using an OEM XP PRO CD, A retail
XP PRO CD and even a microsoft select licensing XP CD. None of them work. I
have no problem when I put a W2k CD in. It works fine. I've even tried
running the preinstall manager on a winXP and W2k machine with the same
results. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for any kind of help,
Jean-Yves
