operation timed out -- happening more often

Lately it seems that I'm getting more "operation timed out trying to
connect to..." than before. I assume this is due to XP's firewall.
Anyway to tweak the time delays, etc.?

This does not sound like a firewall issue. However, since you haven't
told us anything about your Internet connection (method/ISP), your
network, your hardware, or what changed between the time things worked
and the time they didn't - a more specific answer is impossible. Post
back with the missing details for more help.
