operating system query

I have a friend who has a problem with Windows Millennium Edition. She
doesn't use newsgroups so I am looking. There appear to be no newsgroups
with "millennium" or "operating" [for operating system].

Where can I find appropriate newsgroups?

Use "msnews.microsoft.com" as news server. Download the groups and
"subscribe" to those of interest.
