OpenNetCF.Desktop.Communication Registry classes

I can't figure out how to use the OpenNetCF.Desktop.Communication registry
classes. Does anyone have an example to share? Spesifically I need to read
the value of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Platform\Name

The classes follow the desktop registry object model e.g.

CERegistryKey platkey = CERegistry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey("Platform");
string platname = platkey.GetValue("Name");
platkey.Close();
