I tried to diagnose how to keep office xp from crashing.

Document has a lot of tables and images.
Document is 2.65 megs in size.

I was searching for a document scrubber to remove old non existant locations
I was thinking this info was making it crash. I know the historical fix was that
if this was a network location file then just put in host info to resolve to 127.0.0.1
then document would no longer crash but this is not a file residing on network.

It does point to a folder that no longer exists from an older(different pc)

so where can I find this document scrubber to remove personal private info?

Hi Inachu

You can download Microsoft's Remove Hidden Data tool at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...ed-d43e-42ca-bc7b-5446d34e5360&displaylang=en.
Beware, however, of the issues listed at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;834636.

For other ideas about fixing documents that might be corrupt, see:
How can I recover a corrupt document or template - and why did it become
corrupt?

Hope this helps.
