I have Word 2002 on the computers at school. I was considering getting Office 2003 with Word 2003 for home. Would I be able to use the 2003 to ceate docs and still be able to use them at school on the 2002? Or, would I have to get an older version to be compatible?

They are compatible.

Word's file format has not changed since Office 97.
