Opening the MEMO Window

For the life of me I cannot remember how I was able to use the MEMO feature which opens up another small window so that you can enter data without having to enter it in the cell. It's a keybroad shortcut key & I've tried everything. If anyone knows what Im talking about can you please help me. Ive used this feature prevoiously, but can never remember how I did it

To open the Zoom box, use:
Shift+F2
